A quick overview of some of the interesting configuration options available in the Kenwood DNX9980HD car stereo. This video also shows setting the screen brightness. The dimmed mode can be forced on all the time, or turn on with either the car's headlights or by the GPS based on the time of sunset. What I was finding is that even at its dimmest setting, the unit was way too bright for night time driving. As it turns out, the Navigation mode actually has its own independent brightness control which needs to be dialed in, which does help.
